Peace, Love and Recycle

The crowds have gone and I am alone to unpack a 26 foot Penske moving truck. I have spent hours on my feet, going through each box and sorting out as keep, wash, give to family, or give to charity. No more clutter for this senior.

On Thursday I phoned Comcast to order some mindless entertainment devices for the house. I got the triple play and was told they would install tomorrow (today). At just about the time that my friends Boomer and Izzy from the PoKeeNos arrived to see the new house and feed me delicious hoagies, the Comcast installer had been here for about 5 minutes. I had showed him where everything was to be installed and he went on his way while Izzy, Boomer and I caught up on the latest news and ate lunch. It was fun. I only wish that they could have stayed longer. As a penalty for leaving earlier than I wanted, I asked them to help me lift televisions onto stands and lift the dining room table onto it's feet. They were more than happy to oblige.

They also brought me some wonderful household items, including a nice bottle of wine. Although all of the items were fantastic, I especially like a set of dish towels made of recycled materials.

When Juanita comes to visit soon, I told Izzy we would have a sleepover and invite Fin and Cathy, etc. Can't wait.

We had a great time. Glad you liked your tea towels, as well as the rest of the small gifts! Your house is amazing, and I think you will have lots of fun getting it just how you like it. It's always great to start w. a blank canvas. See you soon.

While I haven't written lately, I have been keeping up on your progress. Looks to me like you're doing fan-friggin'-tabulously! I'm sure you'll have everything just the way you want it soon...then, you can get back to your adventures on the road. I'm going to the "bay place" next Thursday (7-2) and returning to G'ville. on Saturday (7-12). I can't wait. I'm looking forward to a great fourth on the River Front. David & I are putting the boat in the boat parade. . .first time for me.
You take care & come to see us when you can. I MIGHT go to Alex's big day in Philly. . . if everything works out for me.
See 'YA!

I'm back in G'ville. after a wonderful nine days at "the bay place". I had a great time. . . wish you could have been there.
How's the house comin'? I'm sure that by now you are all settled in and ready to hit the road. It is unbearably hot down here but the afternoon showers cool it down somewhat. Keep me posted on your where-abouts.

I think you need a 60" large screen TV mounted on that wall where Gemma and Boomer are. Once that is installed, there will be no need for you to move anywhere else.
