Yankee Go Home

Thoughts while loading the RV today.

I asked myself this morning;
How lucky can I be
To be starting life all over
Somewhere far from Tennessee?

Now Tennessee is fine, you know
For rebel folks and such
But as to heat, the dirt, the crime
I won't miss those so much

What I've wanted all these years
Is a place at home called home
And that such place is just not here
It's the place where I come from

What matters most is not where I've gone
What I saw, or what I'll see
But the friends I've made, family I love
And the times that are yet to be

Fifi

So, you're a poet. . I didn't know it. . Your talents are too many to mention. . So, now that you've sold, that news is old. . so on with your original intention. . .to hit the road in SCargo. . love and laugh and ride. . .find you a place to call your own. . a place where you can hide. . .just remember us friends. . who are left behind. . to follow with this HP. . .just remember to let us know. . all the places you get to see.
(How corny is that??)Have a great life! By the way, the party boat is finished and ready to take out over the Labor Day holiday. Wish you were here.

Wow- all of you are just great blogger friends! what a life. Piano Man never ceases to amaze Fifi with his myriad of talents. He had better watch out, Feef might show up for that Labor Day party boat ride.
And to everyone on the blog - you watch out too - The Feefmeister is on the loose. Hah Hah
We're waiting for Nita and Piano Man to give us their flight dates so we can book (no pun intended) at Bookbinders. Let's go!

I am so ready for a ride on the party boat!

Are there any railings to keep a bleary-eyed drunk from falling overboard? If not, then once I hit the water, should I be concerned about a possible shark attack?

Please post all dates and times for when the party boat embarks. I want to be in line early.
