Well, here I am, getting ready for the closing on the house. Photo is titled: "Still Life With O-Gravity Chair, Printer and Computer" These will be the last to get loaded into the V on Wednesday night.
The closing has been moved from Tuesday, the 5th, until Wednesday, the 6th, now to Thursday, the 7th. Last minute items to be repaired are taking longer than estimated, yet not longer than I expected. I found at my former company that the formula for project completion is to double the estimate and add 1/2 again as much. It pretty much works most of the time. The same applies here.
Overall, I will say that I have learned a few more valuable lessons in the past 10 days - several of them I have learned for the second or third time. But it's good to be reminded of these lessons.
I also have learned again who my friends are: those who are routing for me, who always volunteer to help in some way. Those friends have not waivered over the years. Oops, I'm getting sentimental - let's save that till the closing papers are signed.
That's it - just a short note to update my blog reader pals all over the world.

Poor feef. Another night on the hard floor. This too will pass and you will be a free bird.
PS I like the idea of meeting up at Bookbinders.
Aw, Feef, I am happy and sad for you at the same time! Closing vs. hard floor? No contest! Where are you headed next? Property searching?
Bookbinders? I am SO there! Name the date! Haven't eaten there since I was a kid. Love, love, love their snapper soup! Just isn't the same when you buy their brand at the grocery store.
Well, Feef. . . At least there is light at the end of the tunnel. In a few more days you will be "free as a bird" and off to places unknown. I sorta envy you. Here I am, making little rocks out of big rocks, and at my age I should have enough rocks of my own that I wouldn't have to do this; however, I guess the only thing worse than being "hired out" is "not being hired out". I know that your life is going to be one big adventure after another. . . and, no one deserves it more. As they say, "Live, Laugh Love and Drive" (that is in there, isn't it?). I can't wait to read your blog telling about all the interesting places you visit. Please include us way down here.
OK - Sign up for Bookbinders in September. Let's see how many people we can get. Maybe Juanita and Piano Man can mosey on up. Maybe even Millicent, Popeye, or Gourmetta can make it if Nita can't. What say???? RSVP And don't be spoil sports!
Oh, I so want to come! Have a Bahamas trip scheduled from 9/18-9/23, and a babysitting gig 9/27 &9/28. But if it's not one of those dates, make my reservation for one!! :)
I could make Bookbinders Sept 6th or 7th. Feef, I hope it's over. Call me later.
