Birds on Dauphin Island

Tuesday was another fun day. I met up with my friend in the Florida panhandle and we quickly caught up on recent happenings. We had the option of sleeping inside her neighbor's home, but chose instead to sleep out in the RV with the windows open and cool breezes blowing in throughout the night.

Time got away from me, but today I compiled a photo list of all of the birds I saw while on Dauphin Island. Several of the photos are ones I was able to take on my own. Most of them, though, are public domain photos of the birds. It's always more fun to see the birds than to look at a list of them. So, as promised, here they are: The Birds on Dauphin Island.

I especially liked the picture labeled: Carolina wren on Dauphin Island. It was so crisp and clear, but are you sure it wasn't a cave swallow? It sure looked like a cave swallow, from, what, two thousand yards away! :)
